Waterfalls of Ouzoud (110 m high) are located in the picturesque Atlas village of Tanaghmelt. It is one the most visited site of the region for both international tourists and Moroccan day trippers. Ouzoud is the Berber word for "olive", referring to the nearby Olive trees. Here you will see Barbary apes vying for attention and food.
Waterfalls of the Middle Atlas: There are many trekking possibilities to be found here, that can be made in a day. The bottom of the waterfall is accessible through a shaded path of olive trees. At the summit of the falls, there exists a dozen old small mills that are still in use. You can also follow a narrow track leading to the road of Benni Malal while descending the gorges from the Oued el-Abid.
