Take a 4 Days Morocco Desert Tours from Marrakech to merzouga and back to marrakech via ait ben haddou, atlas mountains, nkob and spend one night in draa valley including camel ride in the sahara.
Marrakesh – Ouarzazate – Dades Gorges
Day 1
The four valleys 4 days, 3 nights tour’s Pick up from your hotel in Marrakesh and transfer to the verdant oasis of Dades Gorge, crossing the high Atlas Mountains at a summit of 2260 m (Tizi N’tichka). You will enjoy the scenes of Berber life in old villages and dramatic mountain scenery. Having crossed the pass, we continue to descend until you finally reach Ouarzazate where we stop for lunch; later the road continues to Skoura through the palm groves and the town of roses, Kela’a M’ Gouna. We will pass the colourful Berber villages before we reach Dades gorges. Dinner and night in the hotel in Dades.
Dades gorges – Todra gorges – Merzouga
Day 2
After breakfast in your hotel in Dades gorges, we follow our way to Tinghir through Dades valley and head to Todra gorges. Here you will find a very different type of gorge to Dades. There are possibilities to hike for an hour or so along the valley bottom. Lunch will either be here in the gorges or later at the bivouac at the Erg Chebbi dunes. In the afternoon, we leave to Erfoud via Tinjedad with its old underground irrigation system, we will discover the fossils and places where they are extracted before we reach the dunes of Merzouga by Erg Chebbi. After a rest, you will have the chance to ride a camel directly to the oasis where you will enjoy the night with dinner and entertainment under the nomad tent or under starlight.
Merzouga – Nkob – Draa Valley – Tamnougalt
Day 3
After an unforgettable quiet night among the sand dunes of erg chebbi, if you wake up early enough, you can watch the spectacle of the sunrise. After, a typical breakfast is served and we return back with camels to the hostel to meet your driver, shower and leave to Rissani. In Rissani you can explore the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif. Continuing to Agdez via Nkob for lunch; we will make our way to the highest part of Draa valley. Dinner and night in a Kasbah in Tamnougalt; one of the meeting places of the caravans during the 16th century.
Tamnougalt – Agdz – Ait Benhaddou – Marrakesh
Day 4
After breakfast in the Kasbah, we drive through the road of the caravans to Agdz, continuing to Ouarzazate where you visit the famous, UNESCO restored, Taourirt Kasbah. Driving north, you leave the main road and take a side road to Ait Benhaddou, which also belonged to the Lords of the Atlas, the Glaoui family. This is the most famous Kasbah in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is also well-known as being the backdrop to many Hollywood blockbusters. The road then continues along the Ounila valley with beautiful and prosperous villages, stunning mountains and views to Telouet, where you will stop to visit the Kasbah and perhaps have lunch. Alternatively lunch will be in the mountains. We reach Marrakesh by the early evening. Morocco desert tour end.
