At Desert Kingdom we are excited to collaborate with our clients to create the perfect itinerary. Let us know what you would like to change or what you would like to see and we will do our best to meet your needs.

What vehicle do you use?

We use 4X4 Toyota Landcruiser or Prado vehicles. These are reliable when driving off road in the mountains and hamada desert. They are also comfortable and fully air-conditioned.

What accommodation do you use?

We use a range of hotels, guest houses, bivouacs and auberges to suit different budgets. We try to use businesses run or owned by locals where possible, therefore benefitting the local community.

What will I need to take?

If you are travelling further in Morocco after the tour we can carry all your luggage as there is plenty of space in the vehicles we use. Depending on what you want to be doing on your tour and the time of year will affect what you need to bring. We always advise to bring good sun protection, cool clothes and a hat as the sun is very strong. Comfortable footwear is advisable, although how far you walk is entirely up to you. In the desert the temperate can drop quickly even in summer can be chilly, so bringing a jumper or fleece is advisable.

When is the best time to go?

For most of the tours and excursions listed anytime of the year is good. Summer can be extremely hot, but we tailor the tour to suit the weather, organising any walking or camel treks in the morning or evening, and having good air conditioning in vehicles and accommodation. If you are planning to come trekking with us then the best time is October until May as it can be very hot during the summer months.
